Q. I was looking online for a hard case to fit on my iPad 2, but all of the cool cases that i found (on zazzle.com) were for the original iPad. I know that the iPad 2 is skinnier than the original, but if the hardcase for the iPad will still somewhat protect my iPad 2, then I'll get it. I don't wanna get the boring iPad 2 cases and I also don't want to wait for the cool ones to come out because I'm very clumsy and my iPad will probably be broken by then :P

A. The original iPad is thicker than the later ones, so it probably would NOT fit most cases made for iPad 2 and later. You really should only buy a case that says it works on the first gen iPad - and those might be hard to find by now.
