A. Simple. You can't unlock the phone for free without paying because it's actually illegal to do that. Unless you pay off your contractual obligation, then even if there is a method of unlocking the phone (which I know for sure there isn't) for free, then you're breaking the law at that point. Q. Sorry for the long question. However, I need an opinion on a phone for Christmas. I like nice, newer phones, but I do not like the iPhone because it has no Slide-Out QWERTY Keyboard. I have a phone in mind, but I was just bored and searching for more ideas. So, I need anybody who has any information to leave a comment below with the phone name (example: Samsung Galaxy, iPhone, etc.) and the phone carrier service (T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, etc.). Here are my requirements: Touch-screen availability, Slide-Out QWERTY Keyboard, Can Download Apps and Take Pictures/Videos, Front and Back-Facing Camera, Nice, New, and Not Easily Broken (I drop things a lot). Please inform me of any information you have. ANY PHONE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS I MENTIONED WILL DO, PLEASE LEAVE ENOUGH INFO ABOUT THE PHONE FOR ME IN YOUR COMMENT SO THAT I MAY LOOK IT UP AND SEE IF I WISH TO HAVE THAT PHONE. Q. I'm just looking for a new phone. I'm not into apple Iphones. Don't ask me why, I just don't think they are all that. I do however really like Androids. Soo tell me about this phone and if I should get it. And I know it is initially from T-mobile. . .
A. Do not get it. My brother had the phone for a a few months and it crapped out on him and became extremely slow. It's really clunky and thick, and doesn't look visually appealing. The screen has poor quality for a phone built in 2011. The build quality is disappointing considering it's an HTC phone, and they're usually the leaders in build quality for all smartphones. I would suggest getting a stronger and reliable android phone such as the upcoming Google Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3. If you really want a keyboard, there are better options such as the Samsung Galaxy S Relay (T-Mobile).
