I have a question about an Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note?
Q. ok so im thinking about switching out my iphone 4 for the samsung galaxy note for my b-day , but i have verizon unfortunately , and the galaxy note is at&t :P , but i was wondering what exactly it means to have an "unlocked phone" , i no it means u can choose a different carrier and not having to choose one , so can u like switch back in fourth with 2 different carriers , and if so wich carriers can the note be used on ?
A. If your Samsung Galaxy Note is unlock it means you can use it with any GSM network carrier that uses a sim card. The only other GSM network carrier that uses sim cards would be T-Mobile. So if you had a unlock Samsung Galaxy Note then you can use it with T-Mobile.
Verizon is not a GSM network carrier but uses CDMA network and does not use any sim cards. So you won't be able to use a unlock Samsung Galaxy Note on Verizon Network.
So technically a unlock Samsung Galaxy Note would work with either A T&T and T-Mobile.
