Q. The cost for these two products are the same. I do have a MacBook Air but I need something handy to browse or check my email anytime and anywhere. I never had an Android though but I'm open to explore.
A. The Samsung 7.0 is more portable than a full size tab so it'll fit better in your purse, etc. Also, if you plan to do a lot of e-book reading the 7.0 is lighter and functions well as a reader. Plus you get Flash with the Samsung. And 3g. Android is a lot more flexible, you're not locked into the Apple world. The big thing Apple had over its competitors was "exclusivity", but even that is gone as they sell these at places like Walmart now.
Best Buy dilemma? Acer A100 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (On-sale)?
Q. I went to Best Buy today to buy the Acer A100 tablet ($259.00) despite hearing the battery isn't the greatest in the world.
But while there I noticed they have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus on sale for $299.99 for a limited time.
Now I'm wondering if I should get that instead. They also had a the Galaxy Tab 8.9 inch for $349.99, but for that price I would probably buy the Acer A200 (10.1) at Staples for $329.99.
Any help would be appreciated. Going to be using it for reading, watching videos, and probably updating my blog out from the field. I'm a sports reporter.
A. The Galaxy Tab is Way Better!
I Recommend it over the A100.
You will be Glad you did. ;^)
Will the Samsung Galaxy S Plus get the ICS update?
Q. Well, the title explains everything: Will the Samsung Galaxy S Plus get the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Android? Tell me everything you know. Thanks! :D
(best answer gets 10 points)
A. I think not.
This is the official news from Samsung:
The ICS-upgradable devices are the GALAXY S II, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Note, GALAXY R, GALAXY Tab 10.1, GALAXY Tab 8.9, GALAXY Tab 7.7, and GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus.
I don't see the Galaxy S Plus in this list.
