Q. I bought the regular one for my new iPad 4 and although I followed the instructions CORRECTLY, this stupid shit still had finger prints and dirt all under it -___-' I did everything the instructions said, put the liquid on my hands and the screen protector...EVERYTHING but it still turned out shitty.
I bought it at target, is there anyway I'll be able to return it and possible get my money back,or a new screen protector? Would I be better off going to the actual Invisible Shield store? [they have one at my mall] I feel like I just wasted $30 on complete shit.
A. Yes you will be able to!
Just bring receipt, box, shield itself and application accessories and tell them your story or better yet show them how shoddy the invisible shield is on the device so you can rip it off right there when they believe you.
Help with iPad questions?
Q. I recently got a new iPad. I've never owned Apple products before (Sad, I know. I always preferred PC's and Androids), so I'm kind of new to this. Some questions I have are:
1. Is the default browser Safari free? The iPad plan I bought was normal wi-fi without the 4G, and the wi-fi is my Internet at home. So if it's connected to that, does that mean I have to pay anything every time I use Safari?
2. If I go to the app store and there are games or shows that say free to download or view, does that mean ABSOLUTELY FREE? I know it sounds dumb, but I've been tricked into games that say that before, but they still charge something every month. I need to make sure they're completely free of charge before downloading.
3. Along with the iPad, I also bought some accessories, like the Invisible Shield (or whatever it's called) for screen protection. My dad and I followed the instructions very carefully when putting it on. But, there are so many of those bubbles. We tried the squeegee for about 15 minutes, but it will not work. There's still some bubbles left in the screen protector. Any advice to get these annoying bastards out?
I actually do use a case for the iPad, since I don't want it to fall apart if it ever experiences a huge fall. I hate screen protectors too, but since this is one of the most expensive things I've ever bought, I just want it to be protected. Plus, my mom uses it sometimes and she has really long and sharp nails. =/
A. 1. Using Safari (or any other app or game) over WiFi is free. You would only pay for data if you have a 3G/4G iPad and use data when you are NOT on WiFi.
2. In the app store, absolutely free is really free. The price (or free) is shown at the time you download. With some apps and games, you start with the free app, and then you can add features by paying for them within the app. But once again, that only happens if you want it to happen. Apple reviews all apps and games before putting them in the app store, and they don't allow ones that try to rip people off.
3. I don't have any clever advice about the bubbles. Sometimes they go away by themselves, but you might have to do it all over again. I don't use those shields at all because they look and feel bad. I just use a cover on my iPad instead.
Would the apple store put on a zagg invisible shield if i purchased it with a iPad ?
Q. I'm tired of waiting for the iPad 3 so I'm going to buy the iPad 2, i was wondering if i buy a zagg shield would they put it on for me ?
A. Great question. Typically they would if you bought it from there. An exception MAY be if they are overrun with customers, or just can't figure it out. iPad 2 is an awesome device, don't feel bad.
