Q. Should I hook up my iPad to the HDMI input? I can also hook it up into the USB or RCA Jacks.
Which would e better? I have a Onkyo TXNR 609 receiver.
A. When It comes to sound quality, I wouldn't use the RCA output, this would take away your surround sound. The USB might get annoying because It may try to output the visual from your iPad to the Usb output, causing your screen to go away when trying to navigate, but this may sometimes happen with the hdmi. So if I were you I'd go with the Hdmi. I use Hdmi with my iPhone an receiver and it works fine, never any problems.
By the way, nice receiver!
will this work? hdmi cable and ipad?
Q. i have the brighthouse app, and when i tried to mirror it onto my tv using apple tv it said that "Time Warner Cable doesnt support.." blah blah blah and i just bought an ipad to hdmi cable thats coming in the mail, so I could connect my ipad to my tv and watch cable tv. I just now realized that what if it doesnt work, i wasted my money. so im wondering, would i be able to watch the brighthouse app on my tv using the hdmi cable? if not, is there any way to pass that message?
i dont have a cable box in my room, so if the answer is no to both, is there another way i could watch cable in my room without a box or cable jack?
A. Yes it definitely will work but you will need to buy a Hdmi regular cord to connect to the iPads hdmi adaptor to connect to the tv hope that helps!
How do I connect my iPad to Insignia TV via HDMI cable?
Q. I have an iPad, HDMI cable, HDMI adapter and an Insignia TV. I connect everything per the instructions. Set the TV input to HDMI but I only get a "No signal" on the TV screen. What else should I try?
A. The only way to play the iPad on the TV is to play a movie or video. The HDMI cable only connects videos and such not just the screen itself. I have not tried playing a presentation from keynote on there but that might work too.
