Q. I know that the iPhone 5 is out but I'm not willing to spend that much on a phone that is a bit bigger and a bit faster and a bit "better" than the much more affordable iPhone 4s.
Anyways, here are my own personal pros/cons of each phone... Please help me figure it out
4S:
+ smaller (I have small hands) and easy to put in pocket/bag
+ lots of cases for it
+ has iMessage/Facetime
+ iTunes!
+ easy to use camera; good quality (don't care about panorama shots)
+ can use on my iPod dock
+ touchscreen (my Blackberry Curve sucks)
- more expensive
- afraid that I'll get it when all my friends move on to other phones (BB10/Samsung) therefore there's no point of iMessage or Facetime
- not as customizable
S3
+ cheaper than iPhone
+ very customizable
+ cheaper apps, can get free music
+ has all those cool features (turns off when you sleep, back-to-back sharing)
+ good for watching movies although I doubt I'd watch movies on it
- SO big... My hands are tiny
- I don't like the texting keyboard on it
- no iMessage/Facetime
- no designated camera button
- suppossedly slower at some functions
Help. Idk.
A. Galaxy 3..As it has almost all the features that iPhone 5 have and is very cheaper than iPhone.. Screen is also big and has great body.
asus eee pad transformer OR samsung galaxy 10.1?
Q. which is a better tablet in the end? please ONLY COMMENT IF you've experianced both first hand thanks :)
A. I go for the Transformer. They have almost the same specs on the software side. Both running Honeycomb and Tegra 2 processor. The display are superb in both devices. You can get the tranformer with the keyboard dock similar price to the 10.1 without the dock. Plus the transformer dock is boasting more functions than the 10.1's keyboard dock. No issues yet with the Transformer. The tab 10.1 is still plague by this "oil slick / newton's ring" issues until now. Check some more reviews before buying one.
which would satisfy my needs more, Samsung Galaxy Tab or iPad 1?
Q. So I need a tablet for school. I have a macbook pro but it's pretty bulky for me to bring to school everyday. I don't think I need an iPad 2 since it's just an iPad 1 with a camera (correct me if I'm wrong tho!) so it's between iPad 1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab.
So since I'm going to use it more for school, and gaming and entertainment from time to time only, I need a tab that:
1. is portable, not bulky or heavy inside my bag. I already have lots of books to bring!
2. I can install word, excel, powerpoint apps into.
3. I can connect to my computer to transfer files.
4. I can use the internet anytime anywhere.
5. I can dock into a detachable keyboard accessory or something (minor thing)
I already have an iPhone 4, so I guess that lessens my need of an iPad, but I really don't know much about the iPad.. so which do you think fits my needs better?
also.. an extra question.. in the iPad, what is the sim for? I know the Galaxy Tab can make calls and send texts so it really needs a sim card.. but iPad doesn't make calls or texts, so what's the sim for?
A. Galaxy tab
