Q. M sister got the update on her kindle. It is called 3.3. But i got to mine to see if I can update kindle, but it doesn't say there is an update. I am just wondering if anyone knows why she got it and not me. Also what does the new update do?
A. I heard (may or may not be true) that Amazon sends the updates in batches, and your "number" just hasn't come up yet. You can download it manually anyway. Draw Something Update for Kindle Fire?
Q. I was able to upgrade Draw Something on my smart phone, but the updated version is not on the Kindle Fire. Is there a way to update it on the Fire? I already went to app updates and it said no apps need updating. Will the newer version be available on the Fire? As an FYI, I am using the paid app.
A. I am also wondering about this. To the previous poster, they are asking about the recent updates that included (supposedly) extra words and more categories. I have the paid app on both my Android smartphone and my Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire is not getting updates for DrawSomething. I posted this question to their forum, but Zynga doesn't seem to care about non-apple device issues. I still don't have the ability to save drawings on my Android smartphone. There are issues on the Kindle as well. The draw/ink time is not as long as the times given on other devices. The ink runs out much faster. I posted about that on their customer support page too - no answer.
Kindle Update questions?
Q. I got an email about an update a while ago and to activate it you were supposed to turn the kindle off. It was where you could see the actual page numbers instead of just page numbers and many more..... can someone tell me how to activate it?
A. It will update while it's sleeping, not turned off. It only updates via wi-fi, not 3G. Once you have the update, the bar at the bottom will be different. It will show only the percentage. To see locations, or page numbers where applicable, press Menu.
