Q. My Samsung Galaxy S had a software and a battery issue and I would like your opinions on which phone is better. If I am completely torn between the desire and the galaxy. I'm not so keen on the nexus, maybe someone could get my hopes up on that phone too.

A. iphone all the way! even tho is wasnt an option i want to point out the pros. i have had my iphone 4s since it has come out and not had even on issue. ive also have a galazy s and a galaxy x II (same as the nexus) both of which were glitchy and had issues. both of which i had to replace with warrenty. the myth that iphones dont have as many free app......i have all the same apps i did on my droids and havent had to pay for one yet. no u can not go to myxer and get ringtones BUT all u have to do is add then from ur itunes or get a ringtone app. apple also will completely fix or replace ur first iphone if it breaks if u take it to the apple store FOR FREE. no insurance claim. and my personal favorite is that u can go to some where like ross or tj maxx and get cases and any other accessory for super cheap (got my first otterbox for 7.99 at tj maxx). iphone also take better pics and have better,louder speakers for listenin to music with out head phones. they also have siri which is awesome. she will answer any question and do anything u ask her too. and with an iphone u never have to worry about losin ur pics or contacts becuz everytime u hook it up to ur itunes it automatically back up ur ohone n ur itunes. iphones have been the best phones for years and continue to keep the number one slot. if it was and option id definitely go apple!
Do you think Samsung Galaxy S2 will get the upcoming android version(5.0 or w/e it will be)?
Q. Its getting ice cream sandwich,I know that.But do you think it will get anymore updates after that ?
A. Most probably it will get the upgrade simply because it is samsung's "most wanted phone" around and it's hardware too is pretty much better than any other model currently in their line up. Maybe the newer s2's like the skyrocket hd will only get the upgrade and not the "older" s2's. It's hard to tell though, simply because android upgrades are so unpredictable, like the hardware may be compatible but the manufacturer doesn't give the update like in the case of the sony xperia x10 or the hardware becomes old as it always does. I heard that the ICS is to be given only to dual core phones or something like that, so maybe the android 5 will only be for quad core phones......So only time will tell.

My samsung galaxy W wifi isnt working, its definatly the phone because it dosnt work on any one elses wifi at all, i have tried numerous things to overcome this problem, i even did the code *#*#525#*#* in the dialler keypad which didnt work niether. Any help or do i just have an absolute s**t phone? also I am on contract with virgin media, is there any chance due to the inconvenience i will recieve a better phone i.e galaxy s2. my phone has already had problems so it has been sent back once already. A little lengthy but if you read it all thankyou and especially if you have a way to solve this frustrating problem. Thanks in advance.

Also i have hard reset the phone 3 times before
A. If I were you I would try doing a hard reset to the phone (try to google how to do that). It may be a problem with the hardware in the phone, which may stop it from working - in which case you must send it to the manufacturer.
Also, about the contract - if you are nowhere near the end of the contract you can upgrade to a different phone now, but at a small fee. Otherwise, if you are near the end they should offer you a new deal. They won't give you another phone of the same price though - only a backup, very cheap phone if necessary.
