Q. How do u charge your kindle? Can u download music and if yes, than how? What case would u recommend? What comes with the kindle 2, like when u order the kindle 2, does it come with earphones, a case, etc.....?
thmx
A. Charging:
*There's an AC adapter for charging the Kindle and you can also charge using your computer via a USB cable.
Music:
Yes, you can put mp3 files in your device by connecting it to your computer and copying your music files into the music folder.
Case:
I'll go with the Amazon Kindle leather cover because I find it really secure and sleek. There's a nice hook & lock thing that attaches to your Kindle. I also have an M-Edge Platform Jacket, that I sometimes use as a book stand.
Box:
The box includes the Kindle, a USB cable and a power adapter (100-240V).
Should I get a Kindle or a Nook?
Q. So, I think i'm finally going to break down and get an e-reader for Christmas. Question is, from personal experience, which is the better product, a Kindle or a Nook?
A. From my personal experience, get a kindle, there are few reasons:
-- Kindle has Text to Speech. While some Publishers disable this feature itâs still present in 40% to 60% of books. Plus you get text to speech for all documents and public domain books you add yourself.
-- Book Range and Prices. Kindle Store has more books available. For books other than Agency Model books (which are the same price everywhere) Kindle Store tends to have slightly better prices.
-- Kindle App Store â You now have 70+ Kindle Apps for Kindle WiFi. Nook 2 does not have apps (they are only available on Nook Color).
-- Customer Service â Amazon really puts effort into providing great customer service
-- Web Browser. A big feature especially as the browser is relatively decent.
-- Kindle WiFi comes with 4 GB of memory of which approximately 3 GB is available to the Kindle owner. Nook 2 only has 2 GB memory of which only 1 GB is available to the Nook owner.
Nook also has few reasons to be bought:
-- Compactness â Nook 2 is just 6.5â³ by 5â³ by 0.47â³ which makes it small enough to fit in your pocket. Kindle WiFi is 7.5â³ x 4.8â³ x 0.335â³ which makes it less compact (itâll fit a jacket pocket but not a pant pocket).
-- Better Battery Life â Battery life for Nook 2 is supposedly two months with WiFi off. Kindle WiFi has 1 month battery life with WiFi off.
-- Memory Expansion â Memory Card Slot that takes up to 32 GB memory cards.
-- Library Book Support - Amazon has promised to add this later in 2011. For now, B&Nâs Nook 2 has a clear advantage as it supports library books.

Nook tablet or kindle fire?
Q. Which is better? Which one costs less? Anyone give me reviews on either please!(:
A. Gotta agree with Derrick here. For the money the Google Nexus 7 is the best thing going right now. The Kindle Fire is better than the Nook and the Nexus 7 is better than the Kindle Fire.
Nexus 7 is compact enough to slide into a jacket pocket. A rubbery, textured back makes it easy to grip. Like the Kindle Fire, it works only over a Wi-Fi connection; while the screens are the same size, the Nexus 7's has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, compared with the Kindle Fire's 1024 x 600.
The Google tablet also has a more powerful, quad-core processor, twice the internal memory and better battery. At four-tenths of an inch thick and 12 ounces, it's also thinner and 18 percent lighter.
Go down the list of standard tablet features, and the Nexus 7 wins every one. Camera? None for the Kindle; the Nexus has a front-facing camera and microphone for video calls.
Bluetooth? The Kindle doesn't have it; the Nexus 7 does.
