A. Samsung Galaxy S2. This delivers are very good experience, that tops the iPhones. It is a very good 8mp, compared to the iPhones 5mp camera. The iPhone has a VGA (low resolution) front facing camera, and the Samsung Galaxy S2 has a 2mp. They both have beautiful screens, iPhone being retina display, but the galaxy s2's super amoled plus just seems to pop and be more noticeable. The Galaxy S2 is very slim, and has a large 4.3" screen making it easy to navigate on. It runs android, which is a different experience from iOS, and that is a decision you will have to make on your own. But some benefits of android is customization, good notifications, adobe flash, a good amount of apps, and widgets. Plus samsung has its "hubs" that are full of content and multimedia, and has a Touchwiz interface overlaying android adding more features and customizations like widgets. Samsung also has a dual core blazing fast processor, and is the top android device if you prefer that os over iOS better. So I like the Galaxy S2's Android OS, and I like its top of the notch hardware, but if you prefer iOS, the iPhone is a great device and you wont be disappointed either way you choose.

A. Samsung Galaxy S2 was the best competitor of iPhone4, or we can say Galaxy S2 is better than iPhone 4. The price of iPhone4 and Galaxy S2 is almost same.
Now apple released iPhone 4S, and Samsung released 'Nexus Prime'.
One of my friends bought iPhone 4S and told me that it is not much different from iPhone 4.The price of iPhone 4S is almost double compared to iPhone 4 (and Galaxy S2). iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S looks the same. So I don't think it is a good idea to pay a lot more extra money for few additional stuff (in iPhone 4S).
So my recommendation is not with iPhone 4S. If you are happy with the look and appearance of Galaxy S2, I suggest you to go for Galaxy S2. At least you will save half the money.
