I know you can't decide for me when you don't know what I like and what I don't, but um.. let's say I would use it mostly for instant messaging, reading some news on the Internet, viewing some documents, listening to music maybe some short movie watching and honestly I think a lot more but I don't know about it's options those I have to explore yet.
So what do you think of the advantages and disadvantages? (So far I thought of advantages for Galaxy 551 goes Android and frankly the design too (yeah, superficial), but C6 has got far better display resolution)

Nokia just announced that they will be having a partnership with Microsoft, and Symbian will just become a "Franchise", and Nokia also stated that they will somehow be dropping off Symbian by 2012. Go for the Samsung Galaxy 551, Symbian is dying anyway..

Q. I'm from India and want to buy an Android phone. Samsung Galaxy 551 is better or LG Optimus One P500?? My main requirements would be Wi-fi, messaging and most important all games and apps should work! Galaxy has lesser screen resolution, so will it be a hindrance in the working of games and apps or no? Plus Optimus has 512 MB RAM as compared to Galaxy's 256 MB!!?? Please its urgent!!!!!

Most games and apps require a min of hvga or they wont even run on the phone! So optimus is bttr
screen quality: Optimus one has better screen quality
processor and chipset:Optimus one is based on qualcomms msm7227 chipset clocked at 600Mhz, it can be overclocked up 806Mhz safely after rooting the phone and installing custom roms. Samsung 551 doesnt have any custom roms on xda forums and its chipset is inferior
Ram: optimus one 512mb! need I say more?
GPU: optimus one has a dedicated graphics unit called the adreno 200, so its obviously better for gaming and 3D apps. Galaxy 551 has no gpu :P
MOST IMP: BATTERY LIFE ON THE GALAXY 551 SUCKS! wont last u even a day(check online) Optimus one will last 2days
