The Samsung Galaxy S Aviator is US Cellulars first 4G LTE smartphone. Many of you may recognize the design, and such does not come as a surprise. This device is another version of Verizon's Samsung DROID Charge.
It comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen (no more Pentile Matrix), physical buttons just beneath the screen, 8MP rear camera/ 1.3MP front-facing camera, HDMI-out, and 1GHz Hummingbird processor. It launched with Android 2.3.6 and came with a 16GB micro sd card.

A. Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not a TV or a monitor. The Note 2's HDMI is an output - not an input.
If you have the skill and equipment to re-write the HDMI section of chips running the HDMI controller on the motherboard inside the Note 2 then you should be good to go... but then you wouldn't be posting here...
why doesnt the samsung galaxy nexus have a hdmi output?

A. It will offer HDMI output via MHL.
That is to say, you will be able to purchase a cable that plugs into the micro USB slot and provides an HDMI output (the connector will have an additional slot so you can still power the phone through the micro USB port).
The cable will probably be about 30 bucks, but that is purely speculation at this point
