Q. My mum has a new Kindle paper white but she is having trouble operating it. It is a touch screen and when eventually she gets the bestselling free books on the screen she only gets the top 6 and can't get the rest on no matter what she presses on the screen. Also whenever she tries to press on a book to buy it, nothing happens. It just seems really awkward. The battery says it is 3/4 full but could it just need charging up more? She also has no debit card and so is using my sisters amazon account, can she create an account that links directly to her bank account? Has anybody else had these problems with Kindle paper White? Should it be so sluggish to use?
I have the original kindle and it seems so much easier to use!
A. I haven't tried to buy from my kindle, so I don't know about that. i just buy on amazon from my computer.
But no, you cannot create an account that links directly to your bank account. You either need a card or you can create a paypal account - not sure how that works. You can also buy some vouchers for a 3V card in my country (you basically just go into a shop, buy a voucher and it gives you a temporary debit card number. Don't know if you have a system like that where you are.
What I will say though is Kindle is coupled to your account so if she switches account, she will not be able to download the books she bought from your sister's account again if she ever deletes them from her kindle. If she's going to switch to her own account, better do it before she's bought too many books as they are not transferable from account to account.
Can someone do this for my Kindle?
Q. My aunt wants to send me two books on my Kindle as a Xmas gift from her amazon account. Is there a way that she can do that? please help me!
A. She can send you a kindle gift voucher at the following address:

This takes you to the gift voucher page!
You can select the price of the books put together!
