Q. So I don't know if I should purchase the NOOK Glowlight or the Kindle Paperwhite(there's a kindle paperwhite 1 and 2?). Can someone tell me pros and cons of each, prices of each, and which they prefer and why? I've heard that the kindle glitches a lot? Help! Thanks:)
A. The Kindle Paperwhite 2 is the newer, thus the better version with lesser bugs.
Nook Glow light and Kindle Paperwhite are pretty much the same things, just with the different service providers. I.e Nook is backed by B&N, whereas the Paperwhite is backed up by Amazon.
Amazon and Kindle Paperwhite is more famous, thus finding the right solution as early as possible is easier compared to finding solution, in case if you face any kind of issue on Nook.
List of pros and cons for getting either - Nook vs Kindle:

So in the end, both devices would work out pretty well for you, all you have to decide between these two is for the service provider.
The Nook Glow light does have the advantage of having a microSD slot and the direct support to ePub format. But the point to notice is whether can you even cross the limit of 1100 books on Paperwhite easily to require a microSD slot? and as far as the ePub format is concerned, you can actually convert most of the non DRM protected ePub files to Kindle read-able format.
Hope this helped!
Which do you think is better: Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Touch?
Q. I have been thinking of buying a Kindle and I am quite disappointed with the choices you get to make. I mean, they really screw you! Now, after much thinking I have come up with these two Amazon products. Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Touch. Kindle Paperwhite is the improved version of Kindle Touch. Kindle Touch has:
1. 4 GB space available
2. a sound system that can play .mp3, .wma, etc,
3. 1 months battery life
There are still many more. And Kindle Paperwhite has:
1. 2 GB space
2. doesn't play music.
3. 2 months battery life
4. a brighter screen with more resolution.
Prices: Touch - $100 Paperwhite - $119
which one will you recommend?
A. Kindle Paperwhite has few features added and few removed. Text-to-speech was actually pretty good to have on the Kindle Touch. But they removed and added a built-in light instead which was basically more of a necessity compared to the music system in Touch.
I suggest you read these comments from an actual user of Touch and Paperwhite, would help you decide which one to choose:

IMO Kindle Paperwhite would be the best option because it has features like:
- Built-in light. As getting a kindle touch and finding the perfect case would cost you more in the end
- Hand-crafted fonts
- Better resolution
- Better contrast
- Faster compared to Kindle Touch
Is Kindle Paperwhite better than Kindle Fire HD for reading?
Q.
A. Kindle Paperwhite is better for reading purpose compared to the Kindle Fire HD.
Is Kindle Paperwhite better than Kindle Fire HD for reading or not, review from an actual user:

Kindle Paperwhite has eInk screen which, unlike LCD screens would not strain your eyes after long time of reading.
Whereas the screen on Kindle Fire HD is LCD which is not as good as eInk screen for reading.
So if you are looking for a device strictly for reading purpose then the Kindle Paperwhite would do the better job, but if you are looking for some device for more than just eBook reading then you should prefer the Kindle Fire HD.
