Q. So im getting the samsung galaxy precedent in early november and Im super excited. I want to know everything about this phone. Is it hard to type on? How many apps can I download? is the screen small? and any other info you have would be great. I also want to know where I can get a hello kitty phone case for this phone. Root is very easy. You just have to connect your device to your computer, then access its hard disk or SD card, somewhere that you can put the application. Download z4root (http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/Enhancements/z4root-110178.shtml) and drag it into your phone's applications place. You should see Z4root in the application screen, if not, search for a tutorial on how to install apps with the pc. Enter the app and select if you wanna permanent root or a root until the next reinstall (i use this because it is more secure)

Samsung galaxy prevail/precedent question!?
Q. i have heard that they are 'seperated at birth' so... Do you think they use the same covers? And are they honestly the same thing? I've heard that they are both good phones. Any help?
A. its the same exact phone i have the prevail and my friend just got the precedent which i have to say the straight talk only version is garbage. coverage sucks only been able to use it in his home. currently trying to return it but straight talk is refusing to let it be known that its basicly a scam. the phone runs of sprint and sprint ONLY. but other then that problem for the price the prevail is deff. a very good phone. ive had no problems with it other then the mp3 player but i think my sd is the cause of that. if your thinking of getting one go with the prevail stay away from the precedent. like i said nothings diff about them except the sticker on the front which on the precedent u can pull it off (cheap i know) and the service.
