A. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is the newest model, I don't think it's worth to get the other old models. The newest model is of low price, much faster performance and better specification.

i use currently an iPad 2 and im very happy with it.
The Galaxy Tab is still a nice one tablet but there are Things to know :
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a nice Vivid Display, but Amoled has burn-in issue and a Short live span.
Android devices are Open source that's Fine . Apple is closed Source, but this Provide more Security.
Android Devices have weak Os Update Service.
Apple Provide continuous Updates!
Flash Support is a nice Feature, but for the Future HTML5 is the Winner and iOS has html5 Support.
You Need a nice Display ? Wait for newer Products or Take a Look at the New iPad !

i was wondering should i buy an iPad or get the android galaxy tab 7.7 ?
i know all the specs of both, i just don't know which One to get, All people recommends A iPad but most apps and games on the apps Store are not Free and i wouldn't be purchase apps "dad wouldn't let me use his credit card" , also the New Ipad has a gorgeous Retine Display ..but on the Hand The galaxy tab 7.7 has a Super AMOLED screen which is awesome! And... All android apps on google play are free...and there's aloooot of apps to download ... Which one should I buy...And if you know the prices Plz tell me ! "Keep in mind that i won't jailbreak the ipad if i bought it" !!
A. Well if you REALLY need a tablet, then get the iPad. I hade a Galaxy tab a couple of weeks ago...PIECE OF S**T. its the most worthless device you can buy. It's just an oversized samsung epic, just like how the iPad is like an oversized iPhone. I had the galaxy tab for 2 weeks, took that thing back and got an iPod instead. It's slow, crashes out of apps all the time, and battery doesnt last long. I would rather get a new laptop than a tab, but if you are going to get a tab, get the iPad. I've never heard anyone complain about theirs yet, when I hear a lot of negative reviews about the tab. I was in the same position you are in, and I regret getting the galaxy tab. Its just sooo freakkkinn laggy!!!!!!
