Q. Should I download it or no? I want to see how my work-in-progress app reacts in iOS 7 (so far it reacts good with 6.1), but I've heard that its really buggy and not fully ready to be used for devs...
A. only iOS 7 Beta is out. Beta is a test version pre released to find bugs to be fixed. So ofcoarse it has bugs. And you need a developer account to run iOS 7. If you don't you will make your phone as usefull as a brick. A developer account is 99 bucks a year. But you seem like you hav eone since you are making an app. So you should go testyour app out when iOS 7 (non beta) comes out. The bugs from iOS 7 beta might affect your app
Question ipad 4 ios 7 update?
Q. Hi so here is my question
I picked an ipad 4 wifi 16 gigabytes less then a week ago and and now it is sugesting that i update to ios 7
I admit i m curious about this ios and have seen it on ftiends iphones
But before i update i want to make sure that all users are having a gokd time andthat they are not having problens with their idevices
I meen it was a hard buy it wasn t cheap but it awsome and i don t want to loose it thank you in advance
A. iOS 7 is a whole new operating system so while it is sleeker and faster, some of the older apps might not function properly (it happens since iOS 7 is radically different from iOS 6). If you're concerned about that then stick with iOS 6.
In my case, I just upgraded to iOS 7 on my iPad and it's working great (absolutely no problems at all). It also supports better security.
ios 5 question on ipod touch?
Q. a couple weeks ago i bought an ipod touch 4 gen. and today i saw on the apple website that ios 5 will be available on it when it comes out. but my question is will, when i download it, all the new things (<im sorry couldnt think of the right word) like the new notifications and photo editors etc. be put on my ipod or will they only be on the next generation of apple products
A. No, iOS 5 is fully compatible with the 4th Generation iPod Touch. You will have all the features of iOS 5.0 on your iPod Touch 4th Generation. You simply have to plug in your iPod Touch to your Computer and press "Update", and then it will automatically update your iPod Touch to iOS 5.0, when it is available.
iOS 5 is compatible with the following devices:
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4
iPad 1
iPad 2
iPod Touch 3rd Generation (32GB and 64GB Models Only)
iPod Touch 4th Generation
I hope this helps :)
NOTE: Eventually your iPod Touch will no longer be able to update to the latest firmware, but that is not the case until probably iOS 6 or 7. For example the iPod Touch 2nd Generation cannot update to iOS 4 with all the features because it is too slow to handle Multitasking. The iPod Touch 3rd and 4th Generation can handle it because they have more RAM and a Faster Processor.
@TheCastle86 - FALSE. The iPod Touch 3rd Generation can handle ALL THE FEATURES OF iOS 5 because it is released to developers and fully functions iOS 5.0 Beta 6.
