Q. Alright heres the deal:
I have an iPod touch 4th generation, but its starting to fail on me a bit (due to alot of drops). I am very familiar with using iTunes and the App Store, i bought alot of Games and Music already
But then again, i have a HTC Thunderbolt (Android Powered) so i am also familiar with their OS as well, i bought a few games on there. Nothing major
I really liked the fact that Android uses flash obviously, I also liked the widgets and what not. but the iTunes and Apple App Store is 100 times better then the Droid Market
So my question is, what should i buy? the galaxy tab or the ipad 2?
A. Samsung provides better widgets but Apple does serve better over a longer period of time. For example, Apple iPad will communicate very well with other Apple products you have through the new OS feature, iCloud (look it up on the web). Whereas Android products appear to be independent, once you get one Apple product you may as well start buying more of them, hence the phrase "Once you go Mac, you don't go back". If you want your device with more games, better quality and better value, it would be logical to pick the iPad 2.
Forget that, though. Android is a smart system and the Galaxy Tab is a very nice tablet, especially, as you pointed out that it uses Flash. The widgets on it are helpful. What I just cannot get my head round is the fact that Android still seems rather tacky! It's not, really, but the iPad would definitely win here.
It really does depend on what you already have. As I have a MacBook Pro, iPod Touch 4G, iPhone 3GS and Apple TV, it would obviously make sense for me to choose an iPad 2. In the situation you are in, I think its just down to personal opinion, really. If you were to get an Android tablet though, I would recommend you get a HTC Flyer as you are already aware of HTC technology.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 32GB?
Q. Hi everyone I am getting a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 this week and had a few questions... on the best buy and futureshop websites it is showing that the preinstalled operating system is android 3.2. However, on every other website/forums it says that the new samsung galaxy tab 10.1 will have android 4.0 ice-cream sandwich.... also another confusion is a lot of website are saying its called "samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1" .... on best buy and futureshop it just says samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and no mention of the "2". A little confused here.
Is the android 3.2 a good OS? and would you recommend it?
is the galaxy 10.1 able to run emulators like super nintendo, gameboy, n64oid etc?
all of my devices are apple : my iPod, my iphone4 and macbook pro... this is the first android product i am getting because the iOS is just way too restricted.
A. the Gtab 10.1 has HoneyComb 3.2 pre-installed... if not, upgradble to 3.2 via settings very easily... As for ICS 4.x, its being made and will be pushed out to the Gtabs by Samsung when ready... again, easily updatable... as for this (2) thing you mention.. i have no freakin idea what your talking about.. must be a typo
Honeycomb is Android for Tablets ONLY... ICS is the miracle OS... it bridges phone Gingerbread 2.3 and tablet honeycomd 3.2 into 1 overall Android OS... Ice cream sandwich (ICS)... so as for "recommending it", your stuck with it on any android tablet! LOL ANd yes, I recommend it... Its android... choice.. openness... freedom... innovation... inclusive.... and NOT lacky---closed---communistic--exclusive...
IT will run emulators for any system you want.. minus PS2 and PS3 and xbox and wii.. they havent been made yet.. to my knoweldge.. LMAO.... oh by the way.. that unrooted too! LMAO Unlike our Nazi counterpart in which jailbreaks are mandatory...
ipad 2 or samsung galaxy tab 10.1?
Q. What will u choose between the 2 of them?? And why?? all my friends suggest me samsung galaxy tab for some reason.. but is it actually better than iPad?? I'm myself not into that kind of stuff so I need your advice which is the better...
A. Samsung Galaxy 10.1 ... its just all about customization. Ipad2 is a absolutely more direct to use but I enjoy making things to my appeal.
