Q. I was looking around online especially on amazon for a kindle touch. I would type in kindle touch and they only are showing that they are used where on amazon do they sell brand new kindle touches. Or should I go to a stores to get one?
A. The Kindle Touch is no longer sold by Amazon. It's an old model.
However if you go to Amazon and search for Kindle Touch you can find several listings with third party sellers of used and refurbished Kindle Touch. You can also find used/refurbished on Ebay. Just make sure you do NOT buy any that say they can't or may not be able to be registered at Amazon because those are ones that were reported lost or stolen (Amazon then blocks that device from ever being registered by anyone).
The main benefit of the Kindle touch is it's the only touchscreen eInk ereader Amazon ever sold that had audio (can play MP3's and according to Audible, Audible audio books). The Paperwhite is their current touch model which adds adjustable frontlighting (so you can also read in dim or dark light, or turn it way down to be like an unlighted model) but it does not have audio.
What's the difference between Kindle Fire and Kindle Touch?
Q. I don't know the difference
I'd use mine more for web browsing and apps than reading but I would read some
Which would be better?
Help please!
A. Kindle Touch is basically the older version. The new version is Kindle Paperwhite.
Kindle Paperwhite uses eInk screen which and is strictly for readers. You can use it for browsing but its pretty slow and only supports sites with text-only.
While Kindle Fire is more of a tablet which is supposed to be used for all the purposes like reading, taking notes, Internet surfing, facebook, youtube, skype, watching movies, playing games etc.

So what YOU basically want is the Kindle Fire HD.
But in case if you wanna go for Kindle Paperwhite then make sure you order ASAP to receive it before Christmas. You might not be able to find it in stock few days before or after Christmas so better hurry.

Kindle Touch vs. Kindle Fire?
Q. I'm 12 and would like to get an ipod touch but I'm not allowed to. My mom says I can get a Kindle and I'd like a Kindle Fire becuase it has games and apps like the ipod touch but it's kind of expensive. Is the Kindle touch still good anymore? I'd like to be able to do a little more than read books though. I also have to use my own money so I don't want to spend too much.
A. Kindle touch is a pretty good deal as you can:
