A. The iPad is limited with what can be done with a web app due to the lack of flash. Web apps are limited even with flash.
That said, there are some cool things that can be done with HTML5 and javascript but they are no match for what can be done with a installed app.

How to swap out apps on ipad?
Q. I can't find all my apps and I want some to show up on the pages. Where and how?
A. The iPad has a limitation of showing only 10 full pages or up to 200 apps.
If you have more apps than that installed, they are still on your iPad but you can only find them using the search feature.
To get to the Search feature, go to the 1st page then go BACK one page and type in the name of the app you are looking for and search for it. You can then launch it once it searches and finds it.
It's a real pain and I wish Apple would allow limitless apps to show up.
The only solution besides searching is to delete some of your apps, do a shutdown of your iPad (holding the top button down 5 seconds until the RED shutdown bar appears) then start up your iPad again. The blank slots should now be filled with apps that were previously hidden by the lack of space.
