A. I like a hybrid type. Gel with outer hard case. Not sure what's available for your phone.
Is the Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Precedent and the Samsung Galaxy Prevail Precedent the same phone?
Q. I ordered the Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Precedent online, & now i'm looking for a phone case. I can't find any that say "straight talk" but, it says Galaxy Precedent and it looks like the same phone, should i buy it even though it doesnt say straight talk ?
A. Same phone... different name. Get the cover for the prevail and it will fit.

A. I hate to say it, but this is a clear case you getting what you pay for. The Samsung Galaxy Precedent for Straight Talk runs on Sprint's network which is not renown for it's speed, and prepaid services such as Virgin have more speed issues.
Being that Straight Talk is a foreign company (Mexico), your phone is of a lower priority for data, so there is a good possibility that your access speeds are too slow and the connection is timing out a lot, yielding your failure message.
There is nothing you can do to fix your data access on Straight Talk, other than going to another carrier.
