Connecting Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 to Laptop?

Q. I just got the Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 so i planned to transfer some of my music and pictures from my laptop to the phone but when i connected it it popped up saying "Windows needs to install driver software for your Samsung Android USB Device" so i clicked on the recommended option - Locate and install software. then another thing popped up saying "Insert the disc that came with your Samsung Android USB Device" But i didn't get any disc when i bought my phone all i have is like a small card named SAMSUNG micros Adapter, so umm how do i connect to my laptop and yeah, and just letting you know, i'm not that great at technology so...sorry if this is a stupid question.

A. This should be it:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_mdl_cd=GT-S5660DSAXEU&srchword=GT-S5660#

1. Under the download section, click on Software
2. Click on the file "exe"
3. Download, then install.

Original Question

should i get a samsung galaxy tab (16gb, white) or a new laptop?
Q. basically i did well in my GCSE's and my mum promised to buy me something. I'm going into sixth form, and I was wondering which one of these would be more useful, and easier to take/use?? Which would you guys recommend, since I have a laptop (it's a bit slow though) and I also have a samsung galaxy s2, and the software and layout is similar to the tab, but of course it's a phone and it's smaller...

Thank you everyone!

A. Do not get the Galaxy Tab, go with the laptop

Original Question

Samsung Galaxy tablet?
Q. I won the new Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet in a contest, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it. I haven't even opened the box because I'm debating whether to keep it or sell it and get the $5-600 that it's worth. Could anyone who owns this product give a little review, or give your opinion? Keep or sell? Thanks!
I really have no use for it other than playing with it for fun. I already have a cell phone, iPod, laptop, and all that...

A. It depends I prefere my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 than a carrying around an heavy laptop besides it has far more options than a cellphone. It's like a combination of both worlds, the functions of a computer and the mobility of a cellphone.

If you normally use your laptop outdoors than you should try your tablet instead, due to it's easy handling and lightness.

It's also great for other things besides just playing games like to watch movies, do your online businesses and surf the web. I really like that you can easily get music and movies from the installed Hub apps. Also a laptop battery usually lasts 1-2 hours while with the tab by adjusting the graphic definitions, it can go up to 7-8hours which is ideal when I go on a trip and wanna watch a movie with my girlfriend or just waste a few hours playing games. Besides it looks really cool on my hands and people keep checking me out :)

Anyway if you don't need it just sell it to a friend, or in amazon or ebay.
