Q. specs are:
AMD Phenom X3 Triple Core Processor
6 GB of RAM
stock motherboard
stock cooling
i THINK 600 Gb hardrive
would this be worth ANYTHING? it can run most computer cames low medium settings full resolution, some anti-aliasing.
(Nvidia) Galaxy GeForce 210
along with Samsung 913v monitor
damn really? what about if i sold online such as craigslist, ebay, or anything of that sort?
A. Computers go down in value VERY VERY fast. And i guarantee its not worth half of what you probably think it is lol.
Id say your computer is worth maybe around $100-200 with the monitor included. (assuming it has a 100% legit version of windows, as many computers sold over the internet sell pirated copies, and claim to be legit. and not only online, ive known local shops to do this aswell)
-The monitor is an old non HD monitor, using no longer standard 4:3/5:4 resolutions. and they are dirt cheap now since they are no longer wanted or manufacturer.
-The phenom x3 isnt a terrible cpu, but its a few generations old now, and cpus that cost $50 today, completely overshadow it.
-6GB of ram is around standard, but use older DDR2 ram, and also ram these days are dirt cheap. 8GB of DDR3 is like $30-40.
-stock case/cooling/motherbaord which came on w/e computer u bought really do nothing for helping your computers value.
-600GB hdd is almost below standard now days. The lowest they come now is 500GB, but most come with 1TB drives.
-nvidia geforce 210 is a VERY low end graphics card, and also ancient. it couldnt even run newer games at 720P on lowest settings lol. $40 graphics cards now are better then this by quite a bit.
-Its used, which that really lowers the value of it
