Any help for Android SDK?
Q. I'm computer literate. I am NOT literate with SOME kinds of codes. I have Java SDK. The Android SDK says I don't have Java SDK. I DO have the java.exe thing in C:\Windows\System32. Anyone know why it won't work?
Also, I downloaded it and I can't find it. Everything I download goes to C:\Users\Andrew\Downloads and it's not there. I used Internet Explorer 10 (Desktop Version) on Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
A. Do you know how to code in Java? If you don't, you need to learn that before you'll be able to write apps. When I installed the SDK, I needed to add an environment variable so that the installer could find the JDK. The instructions in the installer stated what the environment variable needed to be called.
If that is not the problem you are having, then I do not have any answers for you as I have not encountered such a difficulty myself.
