A. No wonder the world is going the way it is....lack of common sense and/or laziness...I mean it takes less effort to do a google/bestbuy/amazon search for "screen protector" than it does to come here and ask your question, then wait for an answer.
In reality, since I only use the LCD screen to view the histogram, i buy whatever screen protectors I find on sale...whether it is for a camera LCD, smart phone, Kindle, or even tablet computers. I just cut it to fit my LCD.

Nook need screen protector?
Q. I bought a new kindle Simple Touch and I really like it until I pasted my screen protector on the screen. Now its glaring against the light , Could someone please help me ereader(Nook) really need screen protector?
I have a leather pouch too which well protects nook .
A. Take the screen protector off the screen (peel it off it wont hurt it). You must have bout a cheap screen protector, try a different one. Problem solved.
No it does not "need" a screen protector it just means you have to be more careful and keep things from scratching it.

Q. I have been using my kindle 3 for about 4 months now and noticed that there are a few scratches on the screen which is because of casual use. I am wondering if applying a matte screen protector on the kindle 3 will affect its quality considerably? I know adding a layer will equal to glare but will adding cancel out the excellent e-ink technology? Help please! And could anyone suggest something I could get?
A. I have a clear screen protector on my kindle. There is a little glare that isn't there without it, but it doesn't effect the readability at all.
