Q. I have a mac laptop and i love it, so I'm wondering if an ipad would be worth the money. Is there anything you can do on an ipad that is better than doing it on a computer? I was thinking for class to type notes because my laptop is so heavy but I can't decide if it's as great as i think it is. Also, would the apps and such download from the ones on your phone or do you have to re-buy them for the ipad? And would a windows tablet be better? I really don't know much about these things.

A. For note taking, probably not unless you get a keypad attachment for the ipad. Granted it is lighter, more accessible and able to plug into cards if you have a usb port, which you can use for navigation, etc.
No you would not need to re buy apps on a ipad if you have a iphone. It is all part of your "itunes account", which can be downloaded to another device.
I dont have experience with windows tablet, I probably wont ever use one , I have a Desktop, laptop, Ipad, iphone, dont really need another device lol. Maybe someone else could answer that part for you.

Q. You know those keypad things you can get that attach to the iPad? It won't let me type on the write hand side. It let's me type numbers but not letters. Does anyone know what I could have done and how I could fix it?? Thanks ppl :D
A. There are two possible problems; one being that the port on the ipad and the keyboard are broken. and second (which is probably the problem) is that the wiring in the keyboard it self is broken, you need to either take into store and see if you can fix it, or you will have to buy a new on):

Q. typing on ipad is a pain in the ass compared to a real laptop. why don't they just get a superlight laptop to use at the airport or where they need to use it. when they put the ipad cover in a vertical position it looks just like a laptop without the keypad..
A. Because the apple laptops are a minimum what...$1000? I got my iPad from my sister for $350
