Q. I'm looking at the Kindle Fire, the Samsung Galaxy tab, 7 inch tablets basically.
However, I do want the capability to do "presentations". That is, to connect my tablet to a VGA digital projector and give a talk/presentation.
What tabled / adaptor is the best way forward?
A. Just look for an HDMI output. As long as you have HDMI, you can convert the signal to VGA via a fairly affordable adapter.

Be careful as you shop around as you need HDMI to VGA, and most converters are the other way around and they aren't two-way.
Note that the tablet will have a smaller than standard HDMI output. Cables with both sizes are readily available.

Q. i have a mini hdmi to USB adapter. i can hook up flashdrives but the external i have does not read. it is a wd 1 tb essential. i heard that the max supported is 32 gb. do i need a driver, root the phone? any suggestions? btw i have a Samsung galaxy s2. thanks in advance.
