Q. are there any problems with it? give me your review
A. The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is a very good phone. It is a part of the Galaxy S series, but, with a mid-range price tag so you get an affordable Galaxy S experience. I really like the look of the phone, it has a slim and sleek classic look. I actually chose this phone over the Galaxy S2 and S3 for the price and the size, I own a small tablet already so I didn't want a phone that was comparable to another tablet. If you are looking for a Galaxy S experience/smart phone this one is a nice bet, it's fast so all games, videos, and web pages load and perform exactly as they should. It also has a great camera for photos and or video. I specifically like the Wifi Calling feature, the Hot-spot feature which supplies a network connection for up to 8 devices, as well as the ability to watch my Netflix movies from my phone.
Are there any problems with it? Yes, there is one problem with the phone and that is the battery life. Since I've gotten my phone I've not held a full charge for the entire day. I do use the phone fairly heavily talking, texting or using Gtalk, watching Youtube, Netflix and playing games - mostly talking. I've obtained an app that helps preserve the battery life and it has helped some but, I plan to obtain a higher mAh battery in the near future. It's not that big of a deal to me because I have the USB connector with me if needed as well as a car charger and of course the option to upgrade the battery whenever I see fit. I've yet to regret my purchase and plan to have this phone for a very long time. I love Android, Samsung and all of the phones features.
Bottom line, it's a lot of bang for your buck.
Will my samsung galaxy s blaze 4g from tmobile get jelly bean?
Q. Ive recently heard the samsung galaxy s2 is gonna be upgraded to jelly bean including the tmobile variant. And i wanted to know if the galaxy s blaze would get it. It makes sense because both these phones have practically the same exact specs so is it it possible?
A. There's no telling if Samsung will be updating the Galaxy S Blaze to Jelly Bean. So far, the only devices that are from the Galaxy S II branch of phones is the international Galaxy S II and the Korean Galaxy S II. None of the US models have even received it yet and I doubt that they will be getting them at this point in time. But the thing is that they can technically run Jelly Bean (although not as smoothly thanks to the Touchwiz UI). As far as I know, the only manufacturer that updated the phones with the same processor as the T-Mobile Galaxy S II (Snapdragon S3) is Sony.
If this scenario is true, then there's an even lesser chance that the Blaze 4G will be getting the update. Hope this helped.
Should I get a Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G or a Samsung Galaxy Nexus Unlocked?
Q. I'm going to get the T-Mobile Monthly4G plan with unlimited data (5GB of 4G), unlimited text messaging, and 100 minutes of calling, it's only $30/month. There are a few smart phones to choose from and the Blaze 4G is the best one, or you can get a SIM card and get any unlocked phone the cheapest one is the Nexus but is like $70 or $100 more than the Blaze 4G.
A. I don't know alot about the Galaxy Nexus, but I do own the Galaxy S Blaze (T mobile). I've had mine for about three months now and I don't have any complaints about it too much , except for the battery life. If you do get the Galaxy S Blaze and you use your phone and various apps alot, be sure to never leave home with out your charger. The battery life sucks big time compared to my previous phone( Blackberry 9700)....
