Q. Hi. So my Grandma has gotten a Kindle and a case but she wants a case (preferably from Amazon.com) that has the following qualities:
-Pockets, in case she wanted to put papers inside the case or something
-Light, to read in the dark and one that wont drain the Kindles battery or the Kindle wont drain the lights battery
-Leather, real or fake leather
-Ability to read like a book, what I mean by this is that you could have the front of the case and the back of the case open so it looks like your reading a book, instead of just folding the front cover back.

A. hmmm, I am selling kindle and kindle cases in singapore ( www. sgkindle.com ). from my experience, if you are looking for quality kindle cases, you'd better purchase the original case. The original one, though, is expensive provides very convenient features like the side hooks and rubber band to close the case. I think it suits you the most except there is no pocket.
Will the normal Kindle Cases work for the Kindle Paperwhite?
Q. I was wondering if the normal Kindle Cases work for the Kindle Paperwhite? Because I'm going to be getting a Kindle Paperwhite and there aren't many cases to choose from for it.

A. It differs from case to case. Some cases can support more than one Kindle model, but it'll specifically specified in those cases. You shouldn't get the cases that haven't specifically mentioned to fit Kindle Paperwhite.
Here are the sizes of the Kindles, there's some difference so only some cases will fit both:
Kindle Paperwhite: 6.7" x 4.6" x 0.36"
Kindle: 6.5" x 4.5" x 0.34"

A. I ordered Amazon Kindle 1st Generation Neoprene Sleeve Blue Case for a second generation kindle. It's not as padded as I though it would be, but the kindle fits perfectly and it definitely offers some protection. The pocket on the front is a nice addition for the cord and any other small item you might want to put in there. All in all, a good sleeve for a great price.
