A. I have a samsung tablet right beside me mines is a tab 2 running some updates
pros ;
Not much difference between the tab 2 or 3
, good on battery life up to 8 hours if using low settings {power save mode}
wifi is good if not in a dead spot area
Brilliant display screen
pretty fair on loading apps depends on the service you'll get
google play works well on it
good for videos and streaming movies can put a sd card in it up to 32 gb
gaming is good on it better than a laptop i have
has a lot of feature apps including a IR for using the tablet as a remote control for your tv called smart remote , has kindle on it ,a office app called polaris , playbooks to name a few
quick to boot up and load being a dual core
con's :
can't load apps on the sd card which is optional and doesn't come with the tablet just media ,photos,music, videos
don't let it get wet even if it's raining outside
the webcam are not the best but still gives out good pixels for picture
ram usage is fast but just kill some apps not being used
i give it a 4.5 out of a 5 mainly the price and not being defective after buying it
btw it does have a usb connector just disonnect the wire from the plug and plug it in to a pc to download music and videos to the tablet ,
i can go on and on about it but look at the features from the instructions and be the judge of it

A. Compare Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the leader in the tablet space, the Apple iPad 2:
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love its light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet. Choose the Tab 10.1 if you prefer its 1280x800 TFT display more than iPad 2's 1024x768 IPS display. Choose the Tab 10.1 if you want a better rear camera (3 MP) than iPad 2's lousy 0.7 MP camera.
Otherwise, go with the IPad 2, which has a higher degree of fit-and-finish than its competition. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).

Q. I mostly gonna use it for pdf books, and to check out my social networks (just check out, not spend hours on them), I don't want a very expensive thing, what do you think? Nexus or Galaxy? Or anything else?
A. get the nexus.
the galaxy is a nice device, but samsung really holds it back with their OS overlay, and lack of updates.
the nexus will be updated to the latest version of android for at least the next year and a half. it is super smooth and fast, has a great screen.
the only down side is the lack of a back side camera, and expandable storage. so as long as you are OK with those 2 things, the nexus is the way to go. if those are important to you, get the galaxy tab.
