Q. Hi guys, erm I got a samsung galaxy s3 phone about 3-4 months ago, and recently my phone has been charging real slow. Before this, my phone charged from 5% to like 54% in like less than an hour, but this week, my phone is taking around 3-4 hours to fully charge from 15% to 100%. Is there a problem? :o
I always wall charge it
A. Was the phone used when you got it? It may be a battery going bad. If so then you may notice it get worse and worse. I get my Galaxy batteries online at http://www.batteries4less.com .
Also, have you changed the way your charging it? Charging time varies depending on if you are wall charging, car charging or usb charging.
Good luck!
Does my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 require a certain charger?
Q. I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I have been using a standard Micro Charger, but it takes somewhere around 11 hours to charge it up fully. Is it the charger itself or the phone that is causing the elongated amount of time to complete it's charge?
A. 11 hours? Shouldn't take more than 3-4 from completely flat.
Something isn't right, obviously. If you have a microUSB to USB A (standard computer cable) plug it into a USB port on your computer and see how long it takes. Charging from PC tends to take slightly longer than from a wall outlet, but even then it shouldn't take 11 hours.
If the phone charges in significantly less time this way, your wall charger is bad. If it still takes 11 or more hours... there is a problem with the phone itself.
Samsung galaxy note 10.1 charger issues?
Q. I think i may have a charger issue. I am using the original charger and it doesnt seem to charge while in use. it dies as if it werent even charging. It charges while not in use and on, but charges slower while turned on. turned off, It charges faster but takes longer than usual. Do you think it is the charger or the battery?? and no, there isnt a red X across the battery
A. Seems it's charging slower than it should be? Did you charge it with laptop, or with wall plug? Charging via laptop will make it much slower. And have you tried to restart the device?
There's also a good possibilty, that the battery montior software gets out of sync with charge in the battery. It'll make the device having issues on charging/battery, having frozen screen, etc. There's a good discussion here, on how to fix such kind of problem:

The discussion is for the Kindle tablets, but same steps will work on any Android tablets.
