Q. So I've had this S3 for exactly 1 year. A few weeks ago it started to turn off by itself unexpectedly. Randomly, sometimes when speakimg on the phone, sometimes when on Facebook, sometimes while listening to music. I observed that it used to download apps by itself, but after I got an anti-virus, it stopped. It annoys me so much. When it turns off, the Samsung Galaxy S3 logo appears, dissqpears, then appears again, repating this for 100000000 times. Only by pressing all the possible buttons it gets out of this appearing and reappearing or whatever. It just makes me want to go for Apple, even though I don't like it so much, any help ? I tried wiping chache, booting in safe mode, virus scan, and even software update, nothing
A. Your phone crashing. The programming in your phone is most likely corrupt. It possible need to reinstall the whole OS. You need to take your phone to your carrier and tell them to fix it for you.
By the way with apple they take care of anti-virus and all that stuff in its operating system, especially with the software updates.
For the record Samsung is an evil corporation they've done things like create fake fundraisers to fund ex politicians. They got caught for it. But they only got away with a slap on the wrist. That's just one thing on their long lists of being evil.
At least with Apple. Steve Jobs is a dick but he poured his heart and soul into every project he ever worked on because he was passionate about the product. He wanted it to be intuitive and an extension of the user. With every product I've ever used of his I've been able to connect to from the operating system to the physical design its simple, cohesive and it was made for anyone and everyone to be able to use easily. Its everything my design professors strived at teaching me to make. Every single concept I've learned in design school I see it in apple products.
With Samsung. The people behind the product work really hard and it shows. Its great work. But Their work isn't cohesive or simple. They keep throwing these great features but that's all they are. They're thrown in. When I look at a Samsung phone I see a dickless man driving a giant penis mobile who gets all these toys to compensate for the fact that they dont have the thing that makes them authentic or original. Samsung takes alot of other corporations and ideas from other people they say that its theirs. I would respect them more if they said they were inspired by these other companies but just try and destroy them. At least when Steve jobs attacks other companies its because they actually stole his OS, ideas, or screwed him over. Maybe he deserved being screwed over for a dick but at least he was executing his vision not taking credit for someone else's. I hate their CEO and the fact that they try to do things like market apple look like its for old people and samsung its for young people. If the product is strong enough they don't need to do this type of marketing. This is the exact part of korean culture I hate. If they feel threatened they try to ruin someone else's image. They do this in business and family politics. (i'm korean)
Sorry for the rant. There's just alot of people who just choose samsung because they just don't want to follow the apple crowd. They say all these things and make these decisions without even doing the research. I use everything apple, nexus, google, hp, toshiba and do my research. But I can't stand people talking out of their ass. My rant has nothing to do with you. Its directed to the people who rant about hating on apple. They keep saying they have proof why they can be such a dick and make other people feel bad for liking apple when really they are talking out of their ass and deserve to have their god dam samsung phones explode in their face.
My Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi!! Help!!!!?
Q. Ok so every few minutes my phone will disconnect from my Wi-FI! It connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects, and when it does connect its extremely slow! Its not my internet thats slow because on my tablet the speed is just fine and it dosn't disconnect randomly and my PC doesn't do it either and the speeds are just fine. I have tried everything! I reset my router like 5 times, rebooted my phone a million times, Ive tried dialing *#0011# and that dosn't even work! I just get some Verizon message thing. The "Keep wifi on during sleep" is on so thats not the problem, I dont get it! Im running 4.2.2 on my phone AND tablet.... yet on my tablet it dosn't do that... help! :(

A. There is probably a bug in the system. If it connects fine on other devices, then the problem is with your device. I am experienced with this type of stuff for about two years. I've had similar issues such s bluetooth and other bugs with my phone. I had learned how to re install a Samsung Android system from my computer. Anyways, I'm assuming the problem is with your phone. Also, the rooting can cause some troubles. My older phone (Galaxy Y) used to lag A LOT while it's rooted.
Keep my Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5?
Q. Ive had my iPhone 5 since it came out and love it. But just recently got a Samsung Galaxy s4 as a gift and also love it. But I like each phone for different reasons. Anyways which one should I keep? I have to sell one because I owe my mom $100 -_-
A. This is why I believe that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is better than the iPhone 5
1. It is quicker (1.9 quad core processor/ 1.6ghz Octa core vs 1.3 dual core processor)
2. Microsd- you can expand the memory with a 64gb microsd. This a cheaper way to expand your memory and you can have a 16 gb S4 and still have more storage than iphone 5 if you get a 64gb microsd.
3. USB OTG- you can read usb keys no problem with an adapter so you can check out what's on them so you don't have to put your computer on.
4. Microusb charger- Better than the lighting connector as you can get them easily and cheaply but also you might have it from other devices as it is becoming standard for smartphones to use micro-usb chargers.
5. Removable battery- This means you can replace the battery if you run out of charge when you are around unlike the iphone 5 which you have to charge or bring an external charger and charge it from there, however this is an awkward way of charging your phone. Also the removable battery can help you prevent water damage as you can remove the battery if it falls in water, thus reducing the chances of water damage.
6. NFC- Want to transfer a music album quicker than bluetooth, well now you can with NFC. You can also use Tectiles 2 to make your life easier
7. Customizable- Change launcher(Are you bored, get a new launcher that suits you and your personality), custom ROM your phone and have access to apps specifically made for rooted devices directly on the play store. You control the device so that it suits you.
8. Dropbox- Love cloud storage well Samsung is offering 50gb free of charge to S4 owners for 2 years on Dropbox. Backup music, video, photos(this can be done automatically), documents etc. Who doesnât want this amount of free cloud storage?(You have to complete a certain amount of steps to get the free storage but none requires any credit card details or anything to complicated) (N.B not all carriers/networks let Samsung offer this)
9. Screen- Itâs bigger but not too big. It has 441ppi vs iPhone 5âs 326ppi plus the Amoled screen creates beautiful colors.
I also found no problems when using one hand, and I have medium hands if not small hands. Also I mostly use the Note 2 and it fits in all my pockets, suit trousers, jeans, tracksuits so the S4 will certainly fit in virtually all pockets
10. Android features-Widgets, live wallpapers, Google Now and all the beauty of android, widgets on the lockscreen etc
11. Samsung added features
a. Smartstay- won't turn the screen off if you are still looking at it.
b. Smartpause- pauses a video when you turn around and turns it back on when you turn back
c. Eye controlled webpage scrolling

a. Dual shot- take photos from both cameras so that you can include the photographer in a photo

d. Drama shot- takes pictures of a moving object and puts the moving object through the whole picture
e. More but those are the best
13. Multitasking- watch videos while online, write an email while watching a video, send a message while surfing the web, you can split the screen in two so you can multitask without a bother, this cannot be done on the iPhone 5.
