Q. I currently have the iPhone 3s, and I'm ready to upgrade. I love how smooth the iPhone OS is, but I feel like the Sammy might have more options for customization and utility.
A. Since I'm in the same boat and actually just got the Galaxy S2 yesterday. I will tell you my experience.
The pros: The phone is amazing! It's got everything you would want. It takes a little bit of getting used to though, but it didn't take me too long.
The cons: If you've used Itunes for music before, you're in for a big hassel of getting all your music on to the new phone, trust me, I've stayed up until just now trying to find the best program to do it all. I thought I found it in isyncr, but there has been conflicts to connect the phone to my PC. Anyway, long story short, the program Kies is STUPID! It doesn't even work. I was lucky I got my contacts transferred over at Best Buy or else, that would be time consuming too.
Another con is if you've used IOS, I still feel that the text messaging and typing tool of the IOS is Wayyyyy better than anything Android although the "Talk to text" is a huge plus.
So coming from being an IPhone user, I never thought about the accessories that I would want to consider like getting a case, screen protector, and car charger (trust me, the battery life isn't as good as IPhone). Having all that already for IPhone, I realize how much money I could save on accessories. I'm considering ordering the IPhone 4S and taking this one back.
I hope I don't regret that decision, but I have a feeling the IPhone 4S is going to be way better than my initial thought at the announcement.
Anyway, hope that helps you. I'm leaning on IPhone 4S. And if I get that, at least I get a free headphone lol... The Galaxy S2 only came with the charger.
Good luck on your decision.

Experience... at least with Galaxy S2 coming from a previous IPhone user.
Why don't people make cool cases for android phones?
Q. All I see is iPhones. I'm sorry, but I can't spend my savings on an iPhone and my provider doesn't carry them anyways. I have an android aviator.. Which IS an old, discontinued tester. BUT! I want to get a 3S next year (when my agreement on this one is up) but I barely see any CUTE ones for android. They all seem to be for freakin' iPhones. I want my android to look cute too. :(
A. short answer : supply and demand.
They believe iphone users have more money to spend, and iphone is a uniform size and shape, whereas android phones come in at least a dozen varieties. So if you had a popular android model (such as Samsung Note or Samsung Galaxy S3), then you are more likely to find the case for you.
Why does my New Iphone say 3g at the top?
Q. I bought a 4s today, with a two year sprint contract. it says 3g up at the top..?
I was reading that the iphone 4s is not actually a 4g phone. Is this true?
If that's the case, should I return my Iphone and get the samsung galaxy 3s? (I was debating between the two, but I like the Iphone's usuability and I THOUGHT they were basically up to the same performance level. Since the Iphone was on sale, I decided to go with it. But, I can still return it and get the other at no return charges, since I just bought it today.
Also, siri is slow, and telling me she can't answer or just not responding. Plus the network is super slow.
A. 4g is a new technology and wasn't in use when the iP4/iP4s were designed. Siri is well-known for being unreliable and slow as it requires an excellent connection (either via 3G or wi-fi) to work, and most places simply don't have good enough 3G connections and where the do there are often too many people demanding slices of the same pie.
If you must have 4G then you'll need to get an iP5 and pay for the 4G service. Even then, you often won't get it as 4G coverage is presently very patchy indeed.
To avoid future confusion, I'd better make it clear to you that 5G definitely doesn't exist anywhere yet and they iPhone 5 is totally incapable of using it despite having a "5" in the name...
