Q. Hello everyone, just a very short question. I really want an iPad and I can finally afford it! But there is one problem. I heard the iPad 3 is launching this March, and I just wanted to hear if you think I should wait for that one. I'm just scared it will be more expensive. Whats your opinion?

Well, the rumors say that the iPad 3 will be a little more expensive than iPad 2. iPad 3 is said to feature a lighter, thinner and longer power battery, which will definitely add a few extra bucks on iPad3's price in comparison to iPad 2. iPad 3 will have many more potential features too, such as - retina display, quad-core processor; which may make it an expensive tablet.
But at the same time, there are some rumors also taking the round that the iPad 3 might be cheaper than it's current version.
Overall, even if it costs a bit on higher side, I would say it's worth a buy. But, according to me it won't be too much expensive as Apple keeps on trying to reach wider audience always. Lets hope for the best.

A. The iPad 3 is supposed to be released in February, it is thought to have a few key features. If you don't care about these features, then I would get the iPad 2.
*Retina display: 4x the number of pixels in the same size display (so 1 pixel on the iPad 2 would be 4 pixels on the iPad 3). This makes text and pictures look sharper.
*Better camera: Thought to be 8 Megapixels vs 3 Megapixels on the iPad 2.
*Better processor: The iPad 2 uses the A5 duo-core processor, the iPad 3 is supposed to have a quad-core A6 processor.
*There is some speculation that there might be a 7.85-inch iPad "Mini"
*The iPad 3 (full version) is thought to be the same price as the iPad 2

A. The iPad 3 will not be released for AT LEAST one more year. Apple would stand to lose a lot of money if they released two iterations of the same product within a fiscal period.
Personally, I am going to wait for the iPad 3 to be released, even if it takes two years, because the imaginable upgrades would far outweigh the upgrades that are present in the iPad 2.
If you must have an iPad within the year, then you will have to buy the iPad 2, if not I suggest you wait.
