There are a lot of tablets at or below this price but they are mostly very low end devices with slow CPUs, poor screens and built for non-US markets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 makes none of the compromises typical of this price point and provides the same kind of performance you'd expect from the rest of the Samsung Galaxy Tab portfolio. It's fast, slick, has a great screen and even has Android 4.03 (Ice Cream Sandwich). I do like the new operating system and adapted to it in minutes.

A. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is the newest model, I don't think it's worth to get the other old models. The newest model is of low price, much faster performance and better specification.

Ipad 2 or Samsung galaxy tab?
Q. Hello everyone!
I'm a student at university and I'm looking to buy a new tablet. I'm debating between buying an Ipad 2 or the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm going to be using my tablet during class to take notes, look at presentations, and access the internet (if need be). So my main question is....
Which tablet is better for students? Ipad2 or the Galaxy tab?
A. Galaxy Tab for sure. iPads don't really like anything not made by Apple(including Microsoft Word documents, Powerpoints, etc.). The iPad 2 is just way overpriced for what it does. There's VERY little, if any customization. With Android devices(such as the Galaxy Tab) customization is nearly infinite. You can do something small like change the background, and the icons. You can go further than that, and put a whole different theme on it. You can go even further than that, and make you own version of Android. It's as simple or complex as you want it. With anything Apple, you're forced to be treated like you're an idiot. And Android devices are getting pretty fast, and Apple is falling behind. Samsung Galaxy Nexus? 1.2GHz. iPhone 4S? 0.8GHz. The Galaxy Tab, I believe, also has a 1.2GHz processor. So Galaxy Tab all the way :)
