Q. i recently got a samsung galaxy reverb like two days ago, and like yesterday I got a notification saying there was a system update or software update ready to install but i keep putting it to install later but it keeps telling me. but exactly is this update and did anyone else that has a galaxy phone or this phone got this. will it erase my data? and is it worth updating? A. I don't know what this update does (since I don't have this phone). It could do a lot of things. Or just a little. The update could include new features, bug fixes or performance improvements. But I'm gonna assume it's mainly bug fixes.
Pretty any phone nowadays would get a system update. My Galaxy S II has went through quite a large number of updates already. I'm still waiting for the next one which makes my phone even better.
No, it won't erase your data. But just to be on the safe side, try backing some things up in case anything goes wrong. Of course it's worth updating. Unless the update is jam packed with bugs. But I highly doubt that.
