White ipad
Called skinomi, on amazon, good reviews, and followed directions
A. Quick question. Has the protector ever gone floppy or melted-like? Also, the protector shouldn't be doing that. It might have to do with the IPad itself, or perhaps the protector is distorting the light that goes through it? If it looks okay without the protector, you could give that a try.
Best stylus for iPad mini with screen protector?
Q. I just purchased an iPad mini and I can't quite seem to find a stylus that works with a screen protector. I'm a nursing student and I use it daily for note taking on my power points. I have a cheap one that works just ok but the rubber tip is super fat!! I have a 4 year that watches movies and play games on, so I have to have it to protect from her and frankly myself! Any suggestions!! I've purchased a Wacom bamboo stylus solo( works but I have to put lots of pressure), various generic capasative styli and some don't even pick up. I don't want to remove the protector as I can b rough on my things. No sarcasm please! Serious answers!! Thanx in advance.
A. iPads use capacitive styli, which means that it detects the difference in electrical capacitance and not the pressure applied, which means that the screen protector acts as an insulator. Screen protectors are a bad idea anyway. iPad mini has a gorilla glass which means it's scratch proof and very resistant to drops. Basically you would have to remove the protector if you want the stylus to work better. You won't be able to find one which works a lot better than bamboo stylus solo (which is one of the best).
If you want to find one anyway here's a list of styli for iPad: http://styli.org/
Where is the best place to get an Ipad screen protector?
Q. I am going to buy an Ipad 2 and I was wondering about screen protectors for it! Are they sold in normal stores like Walmart or do I have to order them online? how much do they cost? what is the best brand? the Cheapest brand? If you could help me out that would be great! Also, (optional) what apps should I download? haha thanks!
A. To get a screen protector, I would highly recommend getting a professional to do it. Because if you do it yourself, the better screen protectors are almost impossible to put on perfectly, they keep getting bubbles, and and "easy on" types aren't that great. invisibleSHIELD is a great company that has a lot of kiosks in malls and they can do it for you on the spot. In my mall I think there are 3 different companies that can do it (the other one is Ghost Armor or something, I forgot the rest).
You can always buy a screen protector (recommended invisibleSHIELD) at BestBuy or Target in a do-it-yourself kit. Actually, some jewelry stores will do it for free if you just give them your iPad and the screen protector you got and they'll put it on right on the spot. So many choices!!!
