Is Kindle Paperwhite better than Kindle Fire HD for reading or not, review from an actual user:

Kindle Paperwhite has eInk screen which, unlike LCD screens would not strain your eyes after long time of reading.
Whereas the screen on Kindle Fire HD is LCD which is not as good as eInk screen for reading.
So if you are looking for a device strictly for reading purpose then the Kindle Paperwhite would do the better job, but if you are looking for some device for more than just eBook reading then you should prefer the Kindle Fire HD.
I just bought a kindle paperwhite?
Q. And I was really excited about watching faust...but I didn't really think the HD version of a film in the 1920's fully explained away the 2.00 I had to pay for hd?
A. Kindle Paperwhite doesn't play movies at all. Kindle Paperwhite is a frontlit eInk reader with a slow-refresh low-power grayscale screen very suited to reading. Most eInk readers, including Paperwhite, have no audio hardware and cannot do animation or video.
Maybe you meant to buy a Kindle Fire color tablet.
How does the Kindle Paperwhite read?
Q. Does the paperwhite read like a regular E-Ink where it doesn't hurt your eyes, or does it read like an article on a monitor where it hurts your eyes after a few minutes?
A. Hello,
Kindle Paperwhite is designed for reading. Unlike a backlit tablet display, Kindle Paperwhite guides light towards the surface of the e-ink display from above so that the light never shines directly towards your eyes, allowing you to read comfortably without eye strain.
Your eyes adapt to the amount of light around you, so you'll prefer dimmer light when reading in a dark setting and brighter light when reading in well-lit surroundings. You can adjust the brightness of Kindle Paperwhite across a wide spectrum - from low light to full brightness - so you can read comfortably in any setting.
The patented built-in light illuminates the screen, not the entire room, so you won't disturb your partner when you can't put your book down at night.
I hope this helps.
