MILITARY PERSONNEL - What's the toughest, most rugged, durable smartphone out there?

Q.

A. Rugged and smartphone are oxymorons. (And no, an oxymoron is not a breathless idiot.)

These are the best rated smartphones that are fairly rugged (your personal results may vary):

Rugged Android Devices

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro
Samsung Galaxy S4 (with Sedio Obex case)
Samsung Galaxy XCover 2
Sony Xperia Z
Sony Xperia Go
Casio GâZone Commando 4G LTE
Kyocera Torque
Android Rhino
NEC Terrain

Rugged iOS Devices

iPhone 5 (with Lifeproof case)
iPhone 4S (with Lifeproof case)

SD card problem! Please help!?
Q. So today while I was using my phone I got a notification randomly saying that there wasn't any SD card. I popped the back open and took out the memory card and I put it back in. This time it read the card but said that it was blank and that its wasn't compatible with my device and that it needed to format. For some reason it still says that I have things in there so I decided to connect it to my computer. But that isn't working either, It doesnt even show up. I've tried two different adapters and still no luck, I've always been able to transfer files but for some reason its not reading it anymore. I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia play and my SD card is a Micro SDHC 8GB if that helps in anything. Help?

A. Same thing happened to me last week with my Samsung Galaxy XCover...and someone else posted a similar query about the same thing - it seems to be quite a common thing...it's put me off Samsung phones, i'll just buy a Nokia next time...

The SD cards are cheap enough, but some of my apps were on the SD card and it's a pain, cause I have to get a new card and then get the apps again...you don't get this hassle with the iPhone.

Q. Hi i bought Samsung GT-S7710, its pretty interesting phone, i cant find on Samsung web page my phone :D , its very interesting, on this site[ http://www.samsung.com/us/ ] i don't have any info about my hardware (maybe this is illusion, i bought phone who doesn't even exist :D ) http://www.samsung.com/us/
i m sick and tired from this phone memory problem i bought microSD card with 32 gb inside , ffs , for nothing , i cant even go in gallery, cus phone always crying about no memory space, ffs i want ask this phone developers, its some fuc*ing joke ? you are just laughing on people, who get this phone, ffs ,
My question is , there is program like "far manager" or something like that where i can manage apps and all hidden stuff from phone or from PC , or it is just developers big fail phone, its not even smartphone i think, with 1 gb memory internal memory and without option to move trash to ext memory this phone is huge waste of money (better give poor people money than buy this phone :) ).

A. hi Lorry Truck driver,

try resetting your mobile as this would fix most of the issue..

good luck...

Warning: Factory reset will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will remove any applications youâve downloaded and installed. Be sure to back up any data and files you want to keep before you do a factory reset.
