Q. Got an Ipad 2, and want to set it up to a television. I have two questions. 1. Is the thing i get the AV Cable or VGA Adapter. 2. I have two HDMI cables, one with two HD ends, one with an HD end and a USB end, and was wondering if i plug that directly into the television, or into my Directv control box? Thanks.
A. 1) Either one will work. Since you mentioned you have an HDMI cable, you could also use the Digital AV adapter.
2) Plug diretly into the TV. Don't bother with the DirecTV receiver. Then you control all your input sources at your TV.
