Piece of plastic stuck in iPad headphone jack?

Q. I purchased a stylus for my iPad that had a small piece that went into the headphone jack to the the stylus with the iPad. When I was taking my iPad smart case off one day I totally forgot that the stylus was still in place and with one quick snap, I had a small bit of plastic stuck in my headphone jack! I have tried digging it out, using drill bits, needles scissors, anything you can think of. Tried gluing a pin to it and pulling it out but that didn't work either. I really don't want to pay to get a new iPad and I would really like to use my headphone jack again!

A. here is what you do.. get a ball point pin and put a small dab of super glue on it and stick that pin on the plastic and let it sit there till it completly dries and then pull it out if that does not work find something the size of the hole on the ipad and superglue the tip and place it on there and wait and pull it out

Original Question

Help my headphones broke inside my iPad?
Q. So i was using my iPad and i wanted to listen to music i got my headphones and plugged them in but i just picked up my iPad after going downstairs for breakfast and the headphones are broken, the thing that you use to plug in to your device is still in the plug holder thing but the rest of the headphones are seperate, how do i take the remaining bit of headphone out of the iPad without destroying it the iPad/Headphone place?
And to the answerer; no the bit that you actually plug in is stuck in the iPad, i have no way of getting it out.

A. I don't think that removing the plug to your headphones would ruin your ipad just because they came apart. Maybe I don't fully understand your situation, but I'm also no expert. Sorry :/

Original Question

Can you plug headphones into a ipad?
Q. i am having trouble getting my headphones in.
i have apple headphones too.

A. You can. Maybe your headphones are the wrong size or there is something inside the headphones port. You need 3.5mm headphones.
