Q. Sorry this might be a really long story, so please bear with me...
So obviously I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace.. I was in Korea for a trip and their plugs were different because it required an adapter to charge. So I wasn't able to charge my phone most of the time, if I did get the chance it wouldn't be fully charged, of course it would die hours later. On the second day before I left Korea I charged my phone before we slept but it got disconnected and didn't charge fully. So it died, I got fed up and just left it dead until I came back home. I don't know if leaving it dead for two days relates with why the password doesn't work, or maybe it reset itself or something. . . When I got back I charged my phone and I tried to unlock my phone, it didn't want to. You see, I didn't have a password at first, but my friends kept using my phone so I put a code on it, and it was 2536 and I never changed it after that. And again when I tried to unlock it after the Korea trip it didn't want to open. I've tried putting that exact code a million times, and other possible codes that I've had before, but still no luck. :( There is no way that someone could of changed the pass, for I didn't give the code to anyone.
So if you actually made it to this part of my story, I would like to know if there is any possible way of recovering my password. I don't want to reset my phone because I will be losing a lot of important data on my phone. But I want the opinion and suggestions of others, if there isn't any other way I might as well reset the phone but I'm trying to look for answers. So please tell me...

A. Hi,
You didn't mention what the phone exactly asks for so I can not say this with 100% certainty.
However I assume you are NOT talking about the PIN code right? The PIN is saved on your SIM card and has nothing to do with the phone code.
I also assume you are not talking about any sim unlock code (network lock pin / network lock code etc) as it would be very weird it suddenly is simlocked after not being so (or did you change telecom provider?)
So I'm assuming you are talking about so called 'user code' / pattern code / security code (and it has some other names for the exact same thing).
You can actually reset / read this code for free by this software:

Use the instructions in the comments part at the bottom of the site, the software either resets or reads the security code. Note standard security code is 12345 or 00000000. You could also try using those first just in case ;)

A. Do you mean lock the screen? If so, just press the power button and it will automatically lock the screen. To unlock it you drag the unlock icon until it reaches the dot in the right of the screen.
How is the Samsung Galaxy Ace?vs. Iphone 4?

A. For your information Samsung Galaxy Ace is worst than Samsung Galaxy S. If you compare Ace with 3GS there might be a competition going on. With 4, no :)
