Q. Ok so I have a gs3 obviously, for t mobile. Anyway, my dad recently started up his own plan, but didn't wanna pay for a phone. So I gave him my old gs2 and bought the gs3 under his account cause I'd be able to make payments. But recently I've had a problem with it and I want to send it in and get a replacement. I have insurance on my plan, and the phone is only a month old. Does it matter whose plan the phone is under in order to get the replacement? I mean I don't think the insurance would have anything to do with it since it's still under the manufacture warranty right? I guess what I'm asking is how do I go about getting a new one? If I call t mobile and they see I didn't purchase the phone of of my account does that ultimately void all warrantys? That would really suck given I am paying full price for the phone as well. Thanks for any answers and please let me know if you'd like me to elaborate a bit more on the situation.
By the way, the problem with the phone is it keeps saying "headphones connected" even though it's not. So it doesn't let me hear anything unless they are connected.
Well I do have my own account under my name. But the phone is being purchased under his name.
A. Of the account is NOT in your name, t mobile wont talk to you. They will want to talk to the account holder.
So your dad will have to ring them up and explain the information and ask them to look at it and fix it. Might be good to ask for a temp replacement phone while it is away.
As far as t mobile are aware, the phone isn't yours. It's your dads. It's on his account. In his name. So his property.
How do you get frames for Samsung Galaxy?
Q. The first day I had the phone I accidentally put a photo frame of a robber (a mask and hat) on my camera and could take silly photos with it, but now I cannot find where they are. Can someone tell me how to get to them?? Thanks!
A. I figured it out! Here is how you do it:
1. Click on contacts
2. Select a contact by clicking on the left where the image of the contact is (this will be a black place holder if your contacts do not have images associated to them)
3. One the pop up menu (this should have popped up when you clicked on the contact) select the last icon on the right.
4. Once you select this the camera will pop up with the overlays you are looking for. You can scroll through them and select whatever you like!
Have fun and let me know if anything is unclear. There may be another way to access this but this is the way I found.
Does the S Pen that comes with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2/10.1 work on the Samsung Galaxy Note (original)?
Q. Would http://www.expansys.com/samsung-s-pen-for-galaxy-note-10-1-white-237182/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=base&ito=1701&mkwid=svHjLhmZB&kword=adwords_productfeed&gclid=CJmq-_6qzbUCFchd3godE2wAkQ for example would work on the original note?
A. It would, but it won't fit into the S-Pen holder on the phone. You would only be able to write with it, but other than that, it won't fit in the holding slot.
