Q. my choices are: (the back to school promotions)
Samsung Galaxy S3
- $500 for no-term contract. $29/month. Unlimited call/text/DATA. and its with WIND mobile.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- $300 for no-term contract. $25/month. Unlimited call/text/DATA. and its with Mobilicity
Which company is better? Which offer is better? Any comments/suggestions?
A. I prefer Samsung Galaxy S3 unlocked, I bought mine here:

Phone works very well with very good battery life. With moderate to heavy use I can get over 24 hours. Going all day is not an issue.
Yes, it is only 3G in order to own the quad core. The U.S. 4G dual cores will be out soon.
On WiFi I can download large Flash intensive pages in 2-3 seconds. Faster than anything I have seen. On 3G it appears to be as fast as Sprint Epic 4G Touch (in 3G mode). Maybe the Sprint Galaxy S2 is faster in 4G mode but I haven't tested it against my other phone. The AT&T 3G is reaching spots where Sprint 3G and 4G were not getting. And as a disclaimer, I am not a fan of AT&T. Reception seems very good. No dropped calls and it is perfect inside my house (which has been very difficult for almost every other phone I have owned). I have not tested reception extensively.
I pay about $140 a month with no contract for service. That is unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 5GB/mo of data. A bit pricey.
There are a couple of things I dislike about the operating system, but it is overwhelmingly an upgrade from Android 2.3.6. The camera is not quite as fantastic as I was hoping for. But maybe that is because the S2 camera is so good, it was hard to improve on it. I am talking about picture quality, not features. The picture quality of my S2 seems better.
The notification system is all or none. You get beeped for a text, but also for every new email. Wish that wasn't the case.
I really like the S2 screen. There is something about it, the S3 cannot top. I do like the fact the screen is bigger on the S3.
One question I had was the charger. It came with a U.S. 110 Volt charger and not the European 220V. That was good to see. It is compatible with Samsung's other chargers.
I think this is the best price over the Internet:

Should I get the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or Dell Venue Pro?
Q. I want to get one of these to use as a WI-FI only device, which one would be better?
I want something that is great to play and have apps/games on, good functionality, and good design.
A. DEFINITELY get a Samsung galaxy nexus. For several reasons:
User interface: a stock version of android 4.1 is the best experience on a mobile device (my opinion)
Operating system: again, android is top notch, especially with the added "project butter" in Jelly Bean.
Apps: Android has WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more apps than windows phone.
Design: you will not find a sexier phone than the galaxy nexus.
Conclusion: deffinetly go for the nexus
Another pro... With a google nexus device, your guaranteed to get every android update :)
Iphone 4s or Samsung Galaxy Nexus ?
Q. What should I get ? / Which is better ?
A. You are comparing Apples with Oranges. The reason why I state that is currently they are two very different phones. ICS bring Android Devices to defiantly to a point that they can easily compete with iOS but iOS will always beat Android on certain things and look more polish unless Google goes back and fixes some of they way they handle certain things. Its like comparing Windows to Linux 10 years ago (windows has gotten more into the open source of things recently with .net a whole community codeplex.com). There are benefits to being a very closed architecture versus an open one that anyone that wants to can know your weaknesses. Its really personal preference Im not a big fan of Apple as a whole because for the most part they have done everything Microsoft did and then some but did not get the grief until recently. And did not become a real compeditor again until OSX which really isn't fully Mac any more its got a unix Kernel with a Mac container.
Regardless of the phone you pick you will get a good phone. If you want to root and hack your phone the Galaxy Nexus is the way to go. IF you want flash stay away from IPhone. Flash will probably only really be around for a couple more years as a lot of the things flash did can be done with HTML5 and JavaScript.
If you are not into rooting your phone (you can jailbreak an IPhone). Also the IPhone 4s is only 3g, it might use hspa+ but Im not sure. If you really want an IPhone I would probably wait until the IPhone 5 came out because that should be 4g.
The IPhone does have impressive hardware and specs an 8mp camera but a 5mp will let you take a picture that can be printed on an 8x10.
The resolution on the Galaxy nexus has a higher dpi and resolution, but is using a pen tile screen which from my understanding does not give as nice of clarity as a regular screen but at over 300 dpi you dont notice it. But a PenTile screen lets you use a stylus or your finger so in some aspects the slight lose of clarity that you will probably wont notice could be very nice especially in a tablet to where you might draw things. The galaxy nexus will have nerdy extras like NFC and a barometer. You have to ask what do you want and whats important.
