A. Samsung Galaxy Proclaim all the way! The Optimus Net phones worked excellent for the first SW revision that they had. As soon as 2.2.1 hit them, the speed went significantly down- the phone has major lag problems. I could have been one out of a million to have experienced issues with it, but according to reviews online, it seems not so. The Proclaim does not have any negative reviews, and my girlfriend has been using it flawlessly for almost a month now. Not one glitch so far. I had Optimus Net glitches as fast as the first day I had the phone in-hand.
Is the straight talk Samsung Galaxy Proclaim worth getting?

A. The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim is the first Android phone that uses the Verizon network. I do not know if the data will be completely unlimited. But your phone will use the Verizon network. This is the only smart phone I would consider buying at this time, specifically because it uses the Verizon network for service.
I have not used this phone. Because I do not want a smart phone. But some reviews of this phone should be coming out shortly. Wal-Mart does honer the 30 day return policy with this phone. If you buy the phone and do not like it, you can return the phone with in 30 days and get your money back.
Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (straight talk)?
Q. Okay, so i have used straight talk before and my old straight talk phone slowed down and turned off when ever it wanted so i got a new one, but im thinking about getting this Samsung Galaxy, but there are some things i want to know first..
1. Does the phone slow down after a month or two of use?
2. Can you access YouTube where ever you are WITHOUT wifi?
3. How is the talk quality and how is the on-screen keyboard is it hard to text?

A. Hey, I've been wondering about the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim myself, which is how I found your question. It's so new that there don't seem to be too many answers out there. I decided to buy it and I set up a review site (link below) where I'll try to answer your questions and post a whole ton of other info about this phone when I can.
I should be able to answer your second and third questions right away after I activate it (tomorrow or the next day), but obviously it will take a while to figure out the answer to #1. It's hard to have a discussion on Answers, but I'm wondering what made you think it might slow down after a month or two. I know some people had issues with the Galaxy Precedent, the first Straight Talk Android phone, but as far as I know those problems showed up right away.
