What's in the box?
The screen features a 5-inch (130 mm) (sometimes stated as 4.99-inch[13]) PenTile RGBG Full HD Super AMOLED screen with 441 pixels per inch; it is made of Gorilla Glass 3.[14]
The S4 comes with either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, which can be supplemented with up to an additional 64GB with the microSD card slot.[15]
The S4 GT-I9505 includes a multiband LTE transceiver and both models feature an infrared LED that can serve as a universal remote control.[5]
Built into the 2600 mAh battery is near field communication (NFC) connectivity, which allows users to perform non-touch payments at shops that employ specially equipped NFC cash registers. The SC-04E model has a FeliCa secure element, unlike other models which contain an NFC-A secure element. The NFC-A secure element on the SC-04E is provided on the SIM card. The battery can be wirelessly charged using a Qi standard special charging pad (sold separately) that utilizes magnetic resonance to produce a magnetic field through which power can be transferred.
The Galaxy S4 supports the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) video format.[5][6][16]
In addition to the touchscreen, the S4 has several physical user inputs including a home button located near the bottom of the screen, at the bottom of the S4 is the primary microphone and the microUSB port for both data connections and charging; it also supports USB host and MHL 2.0. There are volume keys on the left side and a power/lock key on the right. At the top there is a 0.14-inch (3.6 mm) headphone jack, the secondary microphone, and infrared blaster. The backside of the S4 has the 13 megapixel camera lens and LED flash, and at the bottom left edge has the loudspeaker.[17]
The S4 features a sensor that when the the cover is closed, it displays on a screen window that allows view-through access to alerts and status. This sensor is utilized by the Samsung official accessory, the S View Cover.
Why is my camera blurry when i try to record on my phone and how can i make it stop?
Q. I'm using a samsung galaxy
A. We can't see what you see. We don't know when you are capturing video.
It is possible that you are capturing the video under poor lighting conditions. If this is the case, the blur is caused by not having enough light to focus on what you want it to focus on.
Perhaps the lighting is OK, but you move the phone a lot when recording so it does not know what to focus on.
Or maybe you are recording something far away and when you zoom in (digitally, the video is poor - this is what digital zoom does.
It could be that you are capturing the video on your phone (small screen) and playing back on a 60" HDTV and expecting it to look good - it won't.
Or maybe there is something on the camera lens of the phone...
So, too many variables and not enough detail in your post to provide you a specific response.
Is 2MP good image quality?
Q. So I was checking out Samsung 8GB Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1CW/XAC) and was looking at their camera quality. The spec:
Still Image Resolution - 2MP
Video Resolution - 640 X 480
Video Frame Rate - 30 fps
So is it right that it produces somewhat high quality images, but poor videos? Can anyone give me a more in-depth explanation on what exactly 2MP means?
A. I shot this photo with a 2 megapixel camera http://www.urbanphotos.net/images/LVCD/slides/boardwalk_closeup2.html
It was an Olympus with 10x zoom, C20 or something. I forget the model number. I've owned dozens of digital cameras since they first came out. "Megapixels" isn't an indicator of image quality. The number of pixels is just a general guideline as to how large you can print the image on paper without distortions.
2MP = 1600 x 1200 which would be 100 dpi at 16x12 print size or 200 dpi at 8x6 print size. If you're using a camera that's built into a smart phone or MP3 player or whatever, image quality will not be very good. You have no shutter speed control. You have no aperture control. You have a tiny plastic lens that can't even really be called a "lens". You have no optical zoom. You can't adjust the ISO. You can't adjust the white balance. It''s basically a toy camera, the images won't look much better than what you'd get from a $5 cardboard disposable camera. Maybe worse.
