Q. I don't know the difference
I'd use mine more for web browsing and apps than reading but I would read some
Which would be better?
Help please!
A. Kindle Touch is basically the older version. The new version is Kindle Paperwhite.
Kindle Paperwhite uses eInk screen which and is strictly for readers. You can use it for browsing but its pretty slow and only supports sites with text-only.
While Kindle Fire is more of a tablet which is supposed to be used for all the purposes like reading, taking notes, Internet surfing, facebook, youtube, skype, watching movies, playing games etc.
Comments on Kindle Fire vs Kindle Paperwhite, must read before getting either:

So what YOU basically want is the Kindle Fire HD.
But in case if you wanna go for Kindle Paperwhite then make sure you order ASAP to receive it before Christmas. You might not be able to find it in stock few days before or after Christmas so better hurry.

Kindle Touch vs. Kindle Fire?
Q. I'm 12 and would like to get an ipod touch but I'm not allowed to. My mom says I can get a Kindle and I'd like a Kindle Fire becuase it has games and apps like the ipod touch but it's kind of expensive. Is the Kindle touch still good anymore? I'd like to be able to do a little more than read books though. I also have to use my own money so I don't want to spend too much.
A. Kindle touch is a pretty good deal as you can:
- Listen to music
- Read books
- Play games
- Useful apps like text to speech
- Internet surfing

Kindle Fire or Kindle Touch?
Q. I really want to get an e-reader. I do not have any tablets or smart phones currently. I will be getting a smart phone in a couple of weeks. My main focus is for an e-reader but I would love to have the convenience of a tablet that I can take with me on the go. I am wondering if my desire for the fact that Fire can double as a tablet will go away after I get a smart phone. I have heard great things so far about both Kindles but if I can get some of the same features from a smart phone as I would get from the Fire as a tablet, I may just want to go with the Touch. Does anyone already have a Fire and/or Touch who could enlighten me?
An additional question: If I go for the Kindle Fire, I heard it comes with a free month of Amazon Prime. Do I have to purchase it from Amazon to get that or can I purchase it from an outside store like Best Buy or Target?
A. The kindle touch is basically an eReader and its main feature is that it has the eInk display which makes it readable under direct sunlight and would never give you eye strain even after longer reading time.
An excellent review on which kindle to get:

The kindle fire on the other hand would be preferable if you want an eReader tablet which has the lcd screen display. And can be used to watch movies, play tons of games, read color magazines and has a faster processor.
I would recommend you to go for the kindle if you give preference to the eInk display. The price tag for the best selling kindle:

While if you prefer to have an eReader which can do a lot more stuff than you should prefer kindle fire and this is the price tag for it:

I prefer that you get it from amazon directly as they would cover its warranty better than best buy or target.
