Q. What is the best iPad stylus that works great with digital art/animation/drawings and has great reviews?
A. I use Wacom Bamboo Stylus for drawing and Adonit Jot Pro for writing, both works great to their perspective uses! My best advice is to get a feel of the stylus in the store - shape, grip, and feel. In addition, a great iPad dock for designers/animators is the Joule II as reviewed in the link below:
Can I use an iPad stylus on my HTC Vivid?
Q. I guess if not what stylus should I use. I don't feel like ordering one online for $15 plus shipping. I know we have them at our local walmart for $10-$13, iPad stylus that is. I heard there are two types and don't know what ones work on other phones/tablets besides iPads.
A. any capactivite styluses will work perfectly fine with the HTC Vivid, even if they are made for the iPad.
the other type is resistive touchscreen/styluses, but they have been virtually eliminated from the market.
Stylus For iPad Advice? Please..?
Q. I am purchasing an iPad mini tomorrow, well I am a graphics designer and I will be getting the app Bamboo Paper to draw with. However, I would like to get a nice stylus to use with it.
I would like a thin tip if possible, I draw horses and would like the manes and tails to look good and realistic. I found this one..

But I would like to know if it would work well with my iPad, I'm a little bit concerned about it scratching my screen up, is this possible?
Any suggestions would be great, I don't necessarily want this stylus but I like the thin tip. So if you have another suggestion PLEASE do tell me, I can't spend more than 50-60ish dollars.
A. If you are drawing with this stylus, then this is the one for you, look no further.
BUT, if you like to swipe with your stylus, write notes while in meetings, and do other things like play games (which most require some form of a swipe or quick motion), this one is definitely not for you.
The Jot Pro is loud when using it against my iPad's screen. The best way to describe this noise is a muted clicking sound a pen makes. Making noise, at least for me, is not good in meetings.
When I try to swipe using the Jot Pro, the speed of the swipe "burns" off a little of the plastic tip each time, leaving smudge marks that are hard to wipe off my screen. If you have screen protection (my iPad has none, but my iPhone has Zagg's Invisible Shield), the Jot Pro sticks when trying to do ANYTHING. So writing, drawing, much less swiping, is out of the question.
I wanted to love this stylus so bad. If all I did were draw all day and write notes to myself, this would be the perfect stylus for me, but I don't.
