Q. I bought this cover case on ebay, then I saw that the cover was for a Samsung Galaxy S6500 when I have a S5570. Will it still fit on the phone I have, or is it incompatible?

What is a good, stable custom rom for the Samsung Galaxy mini s5570?
Q. Have this old phone which I do like and have no problem with. What I do get annoyed with is the bloat apps forced on me by my network (no, I do not need an Irish translator o2. I have Google translate).
The current android level is 2.3.6 so I was thinking about just getting the gingerbread rom from CyanogenMod but I heard people were running JellyBean on it even and that got me thinking about how it would be to upgrade the android system too. Is JellyBean too much for my poor, old phone?
I know lots of people have custom roms on their android phones and am interested to know if you'd be able to give the advantages and disadvantages too of your chosen one.
A. i have galaxy mini too
i have cm7 mebitek because it is fastest and most stable rom for galaxy mini
oh and yes there is 4.2.2 for galaxy mini(cm10.1) but you said stable good rom, so no thats wrong choice, believe me
its still not optimized and uses about 70 mb more ram and its really slower than cm7
for cm7 mebitek http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475504
anyway if you want to try, cm10.1 is here with weekly updates http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085347
and no matter to which rom, lets say when you want to play games set to 806 mhz no more because its faster but still stable, anyway sometimes may restart phone so when you dont want to miss alarm set to 729 mhz and it will never restart
Sony Ericsson X8 or Samsung Galaxy Mini?
Q. Which, in your opinion, is the better phone? I'll mainly be using it for calls and texts and music, not much more. Which phone and why do you think so?
